From the Spaceflight Meteorology Group: At 10 AM CDT, the center of Hurricane Delta was located at 28.0 N 93.8 W or 130 miles southeast of JSC, moving north at 13 MPH. Maximum sustained winds were 115 MPH.

The eye of Hurricane Delta is forecast to make landfall on the southwest Louisiana coast between Cameron and Intercoastal City around 6 to 8 PM today.

Primary impacts to JSC will be some breezy 20 to 30 mph winds with occasional gusts of 35 to 40 mph. As of 955AM 0.54 inch of rain has fallen.  Another 0.50 to 0.75 inch is likely today.
