From the Spaceflight Meteorology Group:

At 10AM CDT Thursday, June 4 Tropical Depression Cristobal was located at 17.6 N 91.0 W or 840 miles SSE of JSC, moving SE at 3 MPH. Maximum sustained winds were 35 MPH.

TD Cristobal is forecast to slowly move counter clockwise before picking up some steering winds to push the storm north at a bit more speed on Friday. Cristobal should continue on a northward track over the weekend making landfall somewhere in the north central Gulf coast, most likely in Louisiana late Sunday night as a tropical storm. JSC is currently just outside the western edge of the cone of error for the forecast track. As of now impacts to JSC from Cristobal look minimal and mostly off to the east of the TX/LA stateline.

Continue to monitor the latest advisories on Cristobal for any forecast changes.

The next advisory will be issued later this afternoon.
