The National Weather Service has extended the Flood Watch that includes JSC and vicinity until noon Thursday, Jan 25.

Occasional light to moderate rain will occur this afternoon and into the overnight hours. There are two periods favored for heavier rain and thunderstorms at JSC:  1) between 4PM and 7PM today and 2) from 3AM to 6AM. The second one likely be the heavier of the two with between 1 and 1.5 inches falling. Weather looks to improve beginning shortly after sunrise tomorrow with rain chances tapering off quickly. Stay weather aware and be alert! Check road conditions before travel.
