At 10AM CDT, simulated Tropical Storm Ersatz was centered at 28.0 N 93.2 W or 155 miles southeast of JSC, moving northwest at 3 MPH. Maximum sustained winds were 65 MPH.

Simulated TS Ersatz is forecast to make landfall on the upper Texas coast between San Luis Pass and the TX/LA state line Thursday between 7AM and noon.
