From the Spaceflight Meteorology Group:

At 1000 CDT, Exercise Tropical Storm Quasi was located at 24.4 N 89.6 W approximately 407 miles southeast of JSC. Exercise TS Quasi was moving west-northwest at 14 MPH. Maximum sustained winds were 50 MPH.

Exercise TS Quasi is forecast to intensify to a Category 1 Hurricane with 85 MPH sustained winds by midday on Wednesday, 23 June.

Exercise TS Quasi is forecast to make landfall along the upper Texas coast late evening Thursday, 24 June. JSC is located right hand side of the centerline path, could mean heavy rainfall with low risk of tornados. Tropical Storm Force Winds will begin Thursday, June 24 in the afternoon. Expect forward motion to slow from Wednesday to Thursday.
