The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch that includes JSC and vicinity beginning midnight tonight until 7PM CDT Thursday.

An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain on average with some isolated totals near 4 inches are possible from midnight until tomorrow evening.  Heaviest amounts are more likely closer to the coast.  Best chance for additional rain around JSC appears to be starting just before sunrise through mid-afternoon Thursday.

Since midnight through 4PM 2.75 inches of rain has fallen at JSC and 1.03 inches at NASA Ellington Field.  Additional rain piled on the saturated soils could cause some minor to moderate street flooding for brief periods during the Watch valid time.
