The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch that includes JSC and vicinity until Noon CDT today.
As of 8:10 AM this morning 1.18 inches of rain has fallen at JSC Building 30 since midnight. Similarly 0.41 inches had fell at NASA Ellington Field. Additional rainfall this morning should be light to moderate in the JSC vicinity likely only causing some brief nuisance street flooding. Chances for flooding rains remain better nearer the Gulf coast this morning. Additional storms are possible by mid afternoon in the area. Some isolated storms could produce brief heavy rains capable of some minor street flooding.
