A line of strong to severe thunderstorms if forecast to pass through JSC, NASA Ellington Field and Sonny Carter Training Facility sometime between 11:30 PM and 2:00 AM tonight.  The NWS Storm Prediction Center has included JSC and vicinity in the area at ENHANCED risk for severe storms overnight.  The primary threat at JSC will be high winds followed by large hail and tornadoes.  Risk-wise there is a 30% chance to see winds over 57 mph within 25 miles of JSC as the line passes through.  Given the fast passage of the line no major flooding issues are expected at this time.  Be sure to have a method to get weather information overnight.
