The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory valid from 10AM until 7PM that includes JSC.

The maximum temperature at JSC Building 30 is forecast to be 93 with a peak heat index of 106 to 108.  Peak heat index readings will be from noon to 5:30 PM and above 100 likely from 10AM until 9PM or later.  At NASA Ellington Field and Sonny Carter Training Facility the maximum temperature today should be 96 with peak heat index between 107 and 109.

The NWS issues a Heat Advisory when the heat index >= 108 or the temperature >= 103 F. Please take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside.
