The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch that includes JSC and vicinity until 7PM CST today.

As of 11AM CST thunderstorms were increasing off to the west of JSC late this morning. Showers and thunderstorms are likely ahead of a cold front this afternoon, a few could be strong to severe. Best chance for severe thunderstorms at JSC appears to be between 2:30 and 4:30 this afternoon when storms along the cold front pass through. Gusty winds will continue as well today and slowly diminish overnight.
