A note from the Center Director:
The center will return to normal operations on Monday, January 28th. As we reopen the center, please communicate with your supervisor if there are any extenuating circumstances that prevent your return to work and keep safety in mind as you return to your building and workspace.
Thank you for your patience through this unprecedented government shutdown. I am grateful to all of you for your perseverance through the hardships this may have caused, and in particular thanks to those who have been working throughout the shutdown maintaining the safety of our human spaceflight operations and programs.
I also must say a heartfelt thanks to our surrounding communities who have shown such a tremendous outpouring of support during this time.
This event has affected each of us in a myriad of ways, so I would urge you to recognize that as we come together. Also some of the systems and processes we count on will take some time to return to normal operations. Patience and understanding during this startup transition is important.
Starting Monday, be sure to check the Roundup Specials for important updates. NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine will be delivering a message to us on Tuesday and immediately after that I will be having a JSC all hands. As usual, you will have an opportunity to ask questions of me at that event.
We have a tremendously exciting year in human spaceflight ahead of us, and I look forward to seeing you all back at the center.
