From the Spaceflight Meteorology Group:

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Harris County until 2:30 PM.

A Severe Thunderstorm located 16 miles west of JSC was moving east at 50 mph and could impact the JSC area with winds of at least 50 kts (58 mph), and/or hail at least 1 in diameter accompanied by heavy rain and lightning.

Tornadoes can develop suddenly from Severe Thunderstorms.

Stay indoors. If outside, seek shelter immediately.
