The Center will partially reopen tomorrow, Friday, Aug. 28, for mission essential work under Stage 3 of the NASA COVID-19 Response Framework. JSC will reopen Monday, August 31, to all employees working Stage 3 tasks.
The track of Hurricane Laura was favorable to the JSC area, and the Center was spared from significant impact. The Hurricane Recovery team is working today to bring the Center back to normal operating configuration. Please do not return to site today unless you are told to do so. Continue to telework if you are able. However, liberal leave policies remain in place for employees who may have evacuated or need to reverse hurricane preparations. Please coordinate with your supervisor. As always, taking care of yourself and your family is the first priority. In the coming days and weeks, as our neighbors in eastern Texas and Louisiana start their recovery, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. |
