Employees:

With a federal holiday on Monday, January 20, and recognizing employees may not be checking Johnson Space Center communications, center leadership is tracking current weather forecasts that indicate a high probability for freezing temperatures and precipitation that could impact travel across Texas early next week. Employees should monitor road conditions and local news before traveling. Please coordinate with your supervisor. Your safety is a priority. WebTADS guidance will be sent as needed following the freezing weather to account for unusual circumstances.

Supervisors:

In the event of hazardous conditions, you are encouraged to authorize telework to the maximum extent possible during this freezing period. Supervisors are granted authority to approve XLV61 Weather and Safety Leave when an employee is unable to travel to work safely due to weather conditions and also unable to telework due to power outage and/or home safety issues (damage or unsafe conditions).

Contractor team members should check with your contract management for your company’s policy.
