From the Spaceflight Meteorology Group:

Severe thunderstorms are possible at JSC today particularly between 11AM and 5:30 PM.  A warm front is forecast to move through JSC later this morning bringing a brief period of warmer and more humid weather. How long and how much warmer, more humid air JSC sees this afternoon will determine the severe storm risk. A few thunderstorms will scattered across southeast Texas, some of which may be severe. A cold front will then move through JSC around 3PM bringing a line of strong to severe storms with it. It’s very likely a tornado watch will be issued by the NWS this afternoon.  Winds will remain breezy as well today with a few gusts over 40 mph likely. Winds will decrease slowly overnight with temperatures dropping into the lower 40s.
