The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Harris County until 945 AM. JSC and NASA Ellington are included in the warning.

A Severe Thunderstorm located at 8 miles west of JSC was moving east at 30 mph and will impact the JSC area with winds of at least 50 kts (58 mph), and/or hail at least 1 in diameter accompanied by heavy rain and lightning.

Tornadoes can develop suddenly from Severe Thunderstorms.

Stay indoors. If outside, seek shelter immediately.
