From the Spaceflight Meteorology Group:At 2AM CDT, Hurricane Beryl’s center was located at 28.3 N 95.9 W or 89 miles SW of JSC, moving NNW at 10 MPH. Maximum sustained winds were 80 MPH. Beryl’s eye should make landfall in about 2 hours.
Winds of 35 to 40 mph are common now along the Galveston and Brazoria county coasts with gusts around 50 mph. Similar winds will spread into the JSC vicinity later tonight.Tropical Weather Info from National Hurricane Center:
