From the Spaceflight Meteorology Group: At 10AM CDT, Hurricane Zeta was located at 26.9 N 91.7 W or about 270 miles southeast of JSC, moving a little east of due north at 18 mph. Maximum sustained winds were 90 MPH. An upper trough and the cold front bringing us temperatures in the 50s will keep Zeta away from JSC.
Hurricane Zeta is forecast to make landfall on the southeast Louisiana coast late this afternoon.
