Freezing temperatures combined with precipitation are impacting travel across Texas. Employees should monitor road conditions and local news before traveling. Supervisors are encouraged to authorize telework to the maximum extent possible during this freezing period. Supervisors are granted authority to approve XLV61 Weather and Safety Leave when an employee is unable to travel to work safely due to weather conditions and also unable to telework due to power outage and/or home safety issues (damage or unsafe conditions).

Employees, please coordinate with your supervisor. Your safety is priority. WebTADS guidance will be sent as needed following the freezing weather to account for unusual circumstances.
