From the Spaceflight Meteorology Group:

At 10AM CDT on  Sunday, September 20th, Tropical Storm Beta was located at 26.2N 93.0W or 205 miles southeast of JSC. TS Beta was moving WNW at 4 MPH. Maximum sustained winds were 60 MPH. TS Beta is forecast to make landfall on the central Texas coast near or just north of Matagorda Bay late Monday afternoon or evening.

A slightly faster motion toward the west-northwest is forecast to occur during the next couple of days, followed by a slow down and a turn to the north and northeast Monday night and Tuesday. On the forecast track, the center of Beta will move toward the coast of Texas and will likely move inland Monday or Monday night, and remain close to the coast of southeastern Texas on Tuesday.

Primary hazard to JSC appears to be heavy rain and flooding potential.  JSC may see between 7.5 and 9.0 inches or rain through Wednesday morning.
