At 4PM CDT, Friday, July 24th,  Tropical Storm Hanna was located at 27.3 N 94.3 X W or 165 miles SSE of JSC, moving west at 10 MPH. Maximum sustained winds were 50 MPH.

Hanna is forecast to make landfall on the south Texas coast Saturday afternoon as a minimal hurricane.

Impacts to JSC appear to be decreasing with the primary risk being some brief heavy rains which could cause some minor street flooding or ponding of water onsite for short periods.  Just south and southwest of JSC in Galveston and Brazoria counties a Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Sunday morning.  JSC is not in the Flash Flood Watch area.
